Are you insured and DBS checked?

Yes — I'm fully insured for pet sitting, dog walking, and animal transport. I also hold a current DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service), so you can feel confident that your pets and home are in safe hands.

Do you wear branded clothing or drive a marked vehicle?

Nope! I use unbranded clothing and an unmarked vehicle. This helps keep things discreet and avoids drawing attention to the fact that you're away from home. Your privacy and security are a top priority.

What animals do you care for?

Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, hamsters, tortoises, and even the occasional exotic! I'm experienced with a wide range of pets and happy to tailor care to suit each species' needs. If you're unsure, just ask.

Will you meet my pet before the first booking?

Absolutely. I offer a free, no-obligation meet & greet so we can get to know each other, and I can learn your pet's routine and preferences. It's important your pet feels comfortable with me before any care begins.

Do you stay overnight?

Yes! I offer overnight stays in your home (typically from 9pm–7am) for pets who need companionship overnight — whether it’s due to anxiety, age, or just liking a warm human nearby.

Can you give my pet medication?

Yes — I'm trained in animal first aid and confident in giving most oral, topical, or eye/ear medications. Just leave clear instructions. I don't offer injections.

Do you walk dogs off-lead?

Only if you request it, and only in safe, enclosed areas once I’ve built trust with your dog and have written permission. Your dog’s safety always comes first.

Do you send updates?

Yes! I’m happy to send daily updates with photos or videos, and I can even offer a quick video call with your pet if you'd like a face-to-face “hello” while you’re away.

What if my pet becomes unwell while I’m away?

I will act quickly and responsibly. If it’s urgent, I’ll take your pet to your registered vet (or the nearest available clinic) and keep you informed at every step. You can relax knowing their health is my priority.

What if my plans change suddenly?

I’ll do my best to be flexible! If you return earlier or need to extend your booking, just let me know. I’ll always try to accommodate last-minute changes when possible.

How far do you travel?

I'm based in Basingstoke (RG22) and cover the surrounding areas. Travel within a 3-mile radius is included in my prices. A small mileage fee applies beyond that — see my Price List for details.
