Terms of service.
These Terms & Conditions form the basis of the agreement between All Paws Great & Small (the “Service Provider”) and you (the “Client”).
By booking pet care services, you agree to the following:
1. Bookings & Cancellations
All services must be pre-booked, paid for and confirmed by email, text or message.
For regular visits (e.g. ongoing dog walks), weekly payments are accepted in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to 50% of the full booking fee.
Emergency bookings (made with less than 24 hours’ notice) incur a 25% surcharge.
Overnight stays are limited and subject to availability.
2. Pet Health & Behaviour
Pets must be up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
The Client must disclose any medical or behavioural issues before booking.
Aggressive pets or pets with dangerous behaviour may not be accepted.
If your pet falls ill while you're away, I will contact you and/or your vet as needed and act in the best interest of the animal.
3. Home Access & Security
Keys, alarm codes, and home access information will be stored securely and only used for the agreed services.
I do not wear branded clothing or drive marked vehicles to maintain discretion while you are away.
All visits are logged, and I will notify you of any issues during your absence.
4. Insurance & Liability
All Paws Great & Small is fully insured for pet sitting, dog walking, and animal transport.
I am DBS checked and will take all reasonable care while in your home.
I cannot be held responsible for damage or injury caused by your pet unless due to negligence on my part.
The Client remains responsible for any vet bills, damage, or injury caused by their pet.
5. Keys & Personal Data
Keys are labelled using a secure coding system and never include your address.
You may request their return at any time.
Your personal data is handled according to the Privacy Policy and never shared with third parties.
6. Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.
Remaining balance is due on or before the first day of service, unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods: cash or bank transfer (details provided on invoice).
Receipts are available upon request.
7. Photos, Updates & Social Media
You will receive photo/video updates during your booking (unless you request otherwise).
I may ask permission to share pictures of your pets on All Paws Great & Small social media pages — never with identifiable personal info.
You may withdraw consent for this at any time.
8. Weather & Emergencies
In extreme weather (e.g. snow, heatwaves), walks may be adjusted for safety or swapped for indoor enrichment.
In emergency situations (e.g. sudden illness, lockdowns, road closures), I will do my best to maintain services or notify you of changes.
9. Zoonotic Disease Prevention (e.g. Toxoplasmosis)
To protect the health of both humans and animals, the following hygiene protocols will be followed:
Disposable gloves will be used when handling litter trays, pet waste, or cleaning up accidents.
Hands will be washed thoroughly or sanitised between visits and before handling food or water bowls.
Separate cleaning supplies are used for each home to avoid cross-contamination.
Clients are expected to maintain clean litter trays and feeding areas.
In line with good biosecurity practice, I may change clothes if needed between visits (especially if a pet is unwell).
These precautions reduce the risk of zoonotic transmission, including toxoplasmosis, especially relevant when handling cat waste.
10. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. The latest version will always be available on the website or upon request.
